- An overview of the SpeedIT customer portal The dashboard shows your products, outstanding invoices, tickets and important notices at a glance. This helps you find your way around the customer area quickly.
- Log in to the customer portal: password, passkey and two-factor authentication You can log in using your email address and password, or via Passkey. By selecting ‘Stay logged in’, you won’t need to log in again on devices you recognise.
- Change contact details and company details Under ‘Contacts & Account’, you can update your address, telephone number, company details and VAT registration number - this information will appear on your invoices.
- Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) By using a time-based code from your Authenticator app, you can add an extra layer of security to your account alongside your password - the most effective protection against stolen login details.
- Setting up and managing passkeys With a passkey, you can log in using your fingerprint, facial recognition or a security key - without a password and protected against phishing.
- Change your password and manage registered devices Change your password and keep track of which devices are logged into your account - you can end unauthorised sessions with a single click.
- Account access for team members and agencies Invite staff or your agency to your account and use access roles to specify what they can see and do.
- Data protection: AV contract, data export and account deletion Under ‘Data Protection & GDPR’, you can enter into a data processing agreement, download a copy of your data or request the deletion of your account.
- View invoices and download them as PDFs You can find all invoices under ‘Billing → Invoices’ - showing their status, due date and a PDF for download.
- Pay an outstanding invoice You can pay outstanding invoices directly in the customer portal - by bank transfer, credit card, SEPA direct debit, PayPal or using your credit balance.
- Manage payment methods: SEPA direct debit and credit card Add a SEPA direct debit or credit card, set a default payment method and enable automatic payments.
- Top up your credit and set it off against bills Top up your credit balance and use it to settle outstanding invoices. Every transaction can be traced in the transaction history.
- Consolidated invoice: all products on a single invoice With a consolidated invoice, customers who have multiple products receive a single invoice on a fixed date instead of numerous individual invoices. We can set this up on request via our support team.
- Pro rata: How pro rata billing works If you place an order in the middle of the month, you’ll only pay a pro rata amount for the first period, up to the next billing date. We explain the pro rata method with examples and why we use it.
- Managing contracts: term, renewal and termination In the contract overview, you can view the prices, billing cycle, next invoice and notice period for each contract - and, if necessary, cancel directly online.
- Change payment frequency: pay annually instead of monthly In the customer area, you can change the payment frequency for a contract yourself - for example, from monthly to annually. Longer payment intervals are more cost-effective: depending on the product, you’ll receive a discount on the monthly price.
- Track orders Each order shows its status - from ‘Ordered’ through ‘Paid’ to ‘Active’ - as well as the resulting contract and invoice.
- Your web hosting at a glance In the hosting details, you can view your web hosting’s storage space, email accounts, databases, pricing plan and contract - and go straight to the hosting control panel.

- FTP, SFTP and SSH access for your web hosting We offer FTP, FTPS, SFTP and SSH for your web hosting. Here’s how to find your username and server name, connect securely to the SSL-protected server, and change your password.
- Lift the IP block yourself in the customer area If your IP address has been blocked following unsuccessful logins, you can lift the block yourself in the customer area: check your IP address, resolve the issue and unblock it by providing a brief explanation.
- Upgrade your hosting package: get more performance by changing your plan If your website needs more storage, databases or mailboxes, you can upgrade to a larger web hosting package in the customer area with just a few clicks. You’ll only pay the pro-rata difference until your next billing date.
- Managing domains: Auto-renewal and transfer lock In the domain overview, you can view the expiry dates and auto-renewal settings for all domains. In the details section, you can manage DNS, name servers, contact details and the transfer lock.
- Edit DNS records You can edit A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME and SRV records in the ‘DNS’ tab for your domain - individually, in batch mode or via bulk import.
- Changing a domain’s nameservers In the ‘Name Servers’ tab, you can switch between our standard name servers and your own name servers for external DNS management.
- Transferring a domain to another provider (Auth code) To transfer a domain, you will need the auth code. Here’s how to request it in the customer portal and prepare for the transfer.
