Managing domains: Auto-renewal and transfer lock

Under ‘My Products’ → ‘Domains’, you will find all your domains, along with their status, registration and expiry dates, auto-renewal settings, and whether we manage the DNS records.

Domain details

Clicking on a domain opens the details page, which features the ‘Management’, ‘DNS’, ‘Name Servers’ and ‘DNSSEC’ tabs.

Automatic renewal

If auto-renewal is active, we will automatically renew the domain before it expires - without any risk of downtime. If you do not wish to renew a domain, please deactivate auto-renewal in good time before it expires. If the deadline is approaching, the customer portal will display this immediately.

Transfer Lock

The transfer lock protects your domain from being moved to other providers without your consent. Keep it active as long as you’re not planning to move your domain.

Share domain

The ‘Share domain’ feature allows you to share a domain with another customer, for example so that your agency can manage the DNS records.

What happens when a domain expires?
Unless renewed, the domain will be released upon expiry and may be registered by third parties. Enable auto-renewal for all your important domains.
What does ‘DNS managed’ mean?
The domain’s DNS records are managed on our nameservers - you can edit them directly in the customer portal.
