Yes, Matomo runs with us
Matomo is the privacy-friendly alternative to large analytics services: you see how visitors use your website, and the data stays on your own hosting in Germany. Matomo uses PHP and a MySQL database; you select the required PHP version per domain, and cron jobs for report processing are included in all plans.
Which plan is right for you?
- Economy: analytics for one or a few websites with moderate traffic
- Professional: several websites or online shops
- Premium: high-traffic sites with many page views per day
Installing Matomo
Download Matomo from matomo.org, upload the files via SFTP - ideally to a dedicated subdomain such as stats.your-domain.com - and create a database in the control panel. The installation wizard in the browser guides you through the setup and generates the tracking code for your website.
Tip: report processing via cron job
Disable browser-triggered archiving in Matomo and let a cron job create the reports with console core:archive instead. This keeps your reports fast even with many visitors.
