With Nextcloud you keep files, calendars, contacts and team collaboration fully under your control - on servers in Germany and in line with GDPR. Nextcloud uses PHP and a MySQL database; you select the required PHP version per domain. Set up a cron job for background tasks.

Installing Nextcloud
The easiest way is the web installer from nextcloud.com: upload setup-nextcloud.php to your domain's directory, open it in the browser and follow the wizard. Create a database in the control panel beforehand. Afterwards, set background jobs to cron in the Nextcloud settings and set up a cron job for cron.php.
