You order your cloud server via the configurator in the shop. The price adjusts immediately with every change and is shown on the right in the summary.
1. Set the resources
Use the sliders to choose the number of CPU cores, the memory and the SSD storage. Next to each slider you see the surcharge per core or per GB. Limits and steps are defined by the plan.
2. Choose the disk speed
The tiers Basic, Standard and Performance define how fast your disk may read and write. Higher tiers cost a surcharge on the storage price. What the tiers mean is explained in Disk speed.
3. Contract term and payment interval
You choose the contract term (for example one month or twelve months) and the payment interval. The payment interval cannot be longer than the term: with a one-month term you pay monthly, with twelve months you can also pay quarterly, half-yearly or annually. Any discount for a payment interval is shown directly on the card.
4. Add the external backup
Under Additional options you choose whether and for how long your server is backed up every night to a separate backup server: no backup, or 5, 14 or 30 days back. You can also book the backup later in the customer area. Details under External backups.
5. Check and order
The summary shows term, payment interval, resources, the selected options with surcharge and the total price. Add to cart takes you to checkout.
Operating system and access: after ordering
You define the operating system, access, SSH keys and hostname after ordering in the customer area. Only then do we set up the server - so you can decide at your leisure, and access data is never sent back and forth by email.
Configuration as a link
The configurator takes values from the address, for example ?cpu=2&ram=4&disk=40 (memory in GB) or ?festplatte=performance. This lets you share a configuration.
