SpamGate uses state-of-the-art security algorithms to protect your email traffic. Incoming messages are scanned in real time and checked for spam, viruses and other malware. The filtering process is based on various methods, such as the analysis of sender data, content checks and optional DKIM signatures, which provide additional authentication. Once the emails have been checked, SpamGate forwards them directly - without storing them. This not only ensures rapid processing but also protects your data and your privacy.

Integrating SpamGate into your email infrastructure is extremely straightforward. For inbound protection, all you need to do is set up an MX record in your DNS zone - we simply require your domain name and the destination server to which emails are to be forwarded after screening; you will also need to authorise our SpamGate on your mail server for forwarding.

For outbound protection, you can integrate SpamGate by providing us with the server that sends your outgoing emails and the corresponding domain name for approval. On request, we can also sign your emails using DKIM. To do this, we will provide you with the relevant DNS key, which provides additional security for the authentication process.

Yes, on request, we can provide you with comprehensive statistics on your email traffic. These reports contain valuable metrics on filtering actions, attempted attacks and other relevant metrics, giving you a clear insight into the performance and security of your email communications at all times.

No, SpamGate processes your emails in real time. Messages are only held in the system briefly for verification and are then forwarded immediately to the intended destination server. We do not store emails permanently, nor do we offer an archiving service. This approach ensures that no sensitive data remains in our systems and that your privacy is optimally protected.

SpamGate filters all incoming emails for spam and viruses before they even reach your destination server. This not only significantly reduces unwanted traffic on your system, but also takes the strain off the server itself. Furthermore, we protect your destination server by ensuring it remains anonymous within our processes - it is not identified via the MX record. This measure enhances security, particularly for on-premises Exchange servers, as potential attackers cannot determine your server’s IP address.
