KeyHelp is developed by a German company and offers active support directly from Germany. This not only facilitates communication and collaboration, but also secures jobs in the region and boosts the local economy.

KeyHelp Pro and the CMS One-Click Installer:
By choosing KeyHelp Pro, we can offer you the CMS One-Click Installer, which allows you to install popular software such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and NextCloud at the touch of a button. This makes setting up your projects a breeze!

Mobile optimisation:
More and more digital interactions are taking place on mobile devices. That’s why we’re particularly pleased that KeyHelp is fully optimised for mobile use. Whether on a mobile phone or tablet, you can easily access your hosting panel whilst on the move and quickly carry out any necessary actions.

Innovative features
: When it comes to security, KeyHelp is already setting a new standard for passwordless login via WebAuthn. Spam protection is also significantly improved by Rspamd, enabling the software to learn even more effectively when you mark an email as spam or move it from the spam folder to your inbox because it is a legitimate email.

As well as the standard design, you can also enable Dark Mode to reduce eye strain in dimly lit environments - or simply because you prefer the look.

The switch to Linux Debian symbolises our move towards greater flexibility, control and a strong focus on open-source software.

Debian gives us more freedom in system design and decision-making by offering a commercially independent, stable and highly customisable Linux distribution.

Open-source software:
We believe in the power and freedom of open-source software. Debian represents a community driven by transparency, collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and resources.

Looking back: Why we are parting ways with CloudLinux

An integral part of our ongoing pursuit of optimisation and further development is also the reflection on and reassessment of existing partnerships and tools. The decision to move away from CloudLinux is rooted in several key factors:

Commercial burden:
CloudLinux, as a commercial distribution, not only entailed financial burdens but also limited control due to its closed nature. The operating costs incurred through the use of CloudLinux inevitably had to be factored into our pricing structures. In an industry where competitiveness is often defined by price and performance, this potentially limited us.

Technical Management & Integration
: The integration between CloudLinux and Plesk is not ideal, leading to frequent configuration issues and frustration amongst users - and for us as a hosting provider, as our hands were often tied. This creates an unpleasant situation for both sides, particularly when we, as a hosting provider, cannot react immediately and have to wait for support from the developers.

Lack of Perceived Value:
Despite its stability and security features, CloudLinux failed to deliver the hoped-for added value in our hosting environment that would have justified the higher costs. Our experience showed that the specific functions and benefits of CloudLinux were not adopted or required by many customers to the extent we had originally expected.

Flexibility and openness:
Debian, as a free and open-source distribution, not only enables us to make cost savings but also gives us back the freedom and flexibility to optimally design our service. Debian’s openness fosters a dynamic, collaborative environment that enables us to be innovative whilst offering robust, secure and stable hosting solutions.

These insights are essential to our development and enable us to continuously improve your hosting experience, whilst at the same time upholding our business and value principles. The transition to KeyHelp and Debian is not just a technological shift, but also an investment in the sustainability and future-proofing of our services.
